Web Design Wrap Up
  1. If you have not completed work from the last 6 weeks, please scroll down and complete those items first.
  2. Finish creating your website

    2. Complete step 6- Website Skeleton turn in (I will be sharing everyone's website here, remember NO last names.)

Nitro-Type Tournament-Monday May 18th
Attention all interested, I will be hosting a live nitrotype tournament on Monday May 18th @ 10am for ALL of my students and any Explo teachers who want to participate.
If interested you need to complete the following things by Friday the 15th
  1. Create a free www.nitrotype.com account (follow family rules and expectations for creating accounts).
  2. Share your user name with me, just reply on to microsoft teams post and type it in, or email it to me.
  3. Accept my friend request (My user name is CooksClass)
  4. Practice so you know how it works.
I will create a channel of mixed classes and grades that can live meet throughout the tournament, so you must have access to microsoft teams.
I will create a tournament bracket to follow.
I will facilitate/start each race.
Hopefully it works, I think it will be fun and a great way to end the year, or it will be a calamity of errors we can laugh about!

The expectation is for you to work on my class for at least 90 minutes, any more time is optional. Remember there are no grades this quarter.

Week 4/6-4/10

4/9/20: So, If you have noticed I am posting an assignment/agenda activity about twice a week. I will continue to do so until I state otherwise. Below is a summary of what I have asked/encouraged you to take part in, you will also see them in MS teams as assignments you can mark complete on.

  2. Keyboarding practice, 4/2 agenda below, and submit a screenshot
  3. Access MS teams, 4/6 agenda below, and say hi in the chat area
  4. Complete a flipgrid 'hello' linked in the chat and assignments in MS teams.
​Look for content lessons to begin next week, fingers crossed.
Also, NO school tomorrow and Monday!

Week 3/26-4/3

4/2/20: How about working on your keyboarding skills! Go to the Boredom Busters page, click on the keyboarding practice page, choose a site, practice or take a test. At some point take a screen shot and share, I will compile all the shots and share too. Click here to share your results.
